Engagement pictures taken from today…

Today I had the engagement session of my dreams! The location was beautiful and the sun was starting to set. A perfect combo! I have to say that I’m quite jealous of Sarah’s farm land. I would probably schedule all of my sessions on her property, haha. I’m pretty proud of how they turned out. Sometimes you need a little boost when you feel a little unsure of your skills.

Right now, Ollie is going through a BIG car phase. It’s sweet to watch him play all day long. He’ll look out the front door every time he hears a car and he’ll go, “DADDY?!” That part is kind of sad today knowing Jeremy is on a field trip with his geology class for the weekend. He loves cars…slightly obsessed! He’ll try to pick up as many as he can at one time and he’ll get frustrated if he drops any on the floor.

Busy days.

My hubs is out of town this weekend, so it’s just Ollie and I. Jeremy’s been helping me with our bathroom…we have been re-doing our bathroom and it’s been a long process. I always start projects thinking I can kick them out in a day or two, but then I don’t think about the bead board and how the toilet and sink make it hard to get around. Of course, having a 2-year old running around also makes it hard to get projects done. Plus, I wouldn’t want Ollie breathing in the fumes, so I wait until he is in bed. I want to get it finished before Jeremy gets back Sunday evening!

I think tomorrow I’m going to see a chick flick with my sister since Jeremy never wants to go to those with me…I wonder why…

(Ollie was sick last week, and he sure did love his humidifier!)

Things I loved about today…

Life is crazy right now…very busy, but very good! I babysit a few days a week for a little 8-month old, Aubrey, and Ollie seems to love having her around…until nap time! I can’t say it enough, but I’ve been very blessed with Oliver. He’s the sweetest little man and he loves making people laugh and he also loves giving kisses and hugs. =)

I was looking at some of the pictures below and I started to realize how much my life has changed in the last 5-10 years. I’m almost 27.5 or around there haha. Just a few short years ago I was working at Old Navy and hanging out with my friends all the time. Now, I’m married, have a child, working on starting up my photography business, and I’m happy! My household gets crazy sometimes, but I love it.
